Designing with the Theories

This paper provides an overview of the major learning theories, including a definition, a list of theorists who made significant contributions to the theory's development, and a learning activity that facilitates learning according to each theory's perspective. The theories discussed in this paper are Behaviorism, Social Cognitive Theory, Cognitive Learning Processes, Cognitive Information Processing, Constructivism, and Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction.
