Creating Strong Passwords eLearning Module

This eLearning module emphasizes the critical importance of using strong/secure passwords to protect personal and work-related accounts. It's designed to be incorporated into onboarding processes for companies that require employees to frequently perform computer-related tasks (e.g. tech, healthcare, financial). This module takes 10-20 minutes to complete and is asynchronous/self-paced, with no instructor facilitation required.

The password concepts in this module include 1) the importance of strong passwords, 2) common password security threats, 3) characteristics of strong and weak passwords, and 4) recommended password guidelines. Three interactive activities are integrated into the module to facilitate engagement and to provide opportunities for learners to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice. These interactive activities consist of 1) identifying password security threats in scenarios, 2) differentiating between strong and weak passwords, and 3) applying password guidelines. The module concludes with a final assessment that tests learners' password knowledge.
